Ken Townsend Comic Show
Duration: 12′55″
Ken Townsend and 2 other comic artist from the Bay Area did a show for a non-profit in a church in San Francisco. I worked with 2 cameras one static, and another one which I was in control on top of a tripod. The comic was mic’ed with a lavalier, and another microphone was recording the ambient sound. There was no preparation work, so I had no idea what the conditions of recording were going to be. And I had 6 hours to edit the video.
Insignificant Others, the Musical
Duration: 1′15″
The director of Insignificant Others asked me to produce a DVD of their entire show (2 hours long) in San Francisco, CA. So with 2 cameras, one static and one on a tripod that I was controlling, I filmed the show, and authored a DVD for them with 100 copies so they can get send it to program directors in order to perform the show in other cities in the US. This was a very successful collaboration.
Underneath is a 1+ minute sample of the show.
Circus Center, San Francisco, Lemuel & Gabe
Duration of Sample: 5′
This is a circus act by Lemuel & Gabe from the circus center during a full 2 hours show. The performers needed some video to build a portfolio. The video was shot with one camera from a tripod and the same location to avoid obstructed the public’s view.
They have been training and practicing pole acts for the past 5 years. So they are “new” to circus. But they’re doing great.
Carlmont High School Dance Show
Duration: 1′00
Carlmont High School Dance Director asked me to film their end of year show and put it in a DVD for the student and family. The requirement was to set a static camera and record audio. The DVD had to list each seperate dance performance and they had to be accessible from the DVD menu. They loved it and want me to film all their show next year with 2 cameras, one static and one to close up on main act on stage.
Underneath you will find 1′ minute of the whole 2 hour show:
